A Friday in March saw the Chorley Blues Brothers encounter their third social event, that being ten pin bowling at the Holywood Bowl in Horwich. The Chorley Blues Brothers being the light blue club for the Chorley Group.

It was organized by Peter Hannis, who did a wonderful job, and got a great deal for the brethren, partners, guests, or friends. Including a few brethren from the “dark side,” or should that be dark blue side, who said they’d been invited to the event.

The night’s main aim was to encourage family members and friends to enjoy a night out away from the masonic hall.

Four lanes were booked, two games played, and a complimentary drink consumed.

A prize was donated by the Chairman,  Derek Robinson, for the highest scoring male, and female. This was presented by  Peter Hannis at the end of the event.

The highest scoring female was Libby Hope, with a score of 101 and David Parker, with a score of 167.
